Hussein, Dr Senussi
Dr Hussein is Consultant Physician in General and Elderly Medicine. His main areas of interest are in the management of stroke, TIAs, vascular prevention, hypertension, general and elderly medicine and cholesterol management. He graduated in Libya and came to the UK in 1983 where he started a comprehensive training programme in all aspect of general medicine. He worked in several London hospitals including Kings College, The Royal London and Central Middlesex before taking up the post of consultant at Darent Valley Hospital in 2001 where he runs a specialist stroke and TIA clinic on Monday afternoons. He has published several research papers in various areas of medicine.
